Inter-Library Loan Form

Inter-Library Loan Form

Interlibrary Loan service via this form is only provided to Casper College and affiliated students and employees. If you don't already have a Casper College Library card, please obtain one before using this form.

When you need a book, periodical article or audiovisual item that is not available in the Casper College Library, we can usually obtain it for you from another library in Wyoming or elsewhere in North America. It can take as little as one week to as long as three weeks to obtain the requested material.

The Casper College Library does not charge for interlibrary loans; however, there is a $.25/day fine for overdue interlibrary loans. Also, patrons who are delinquent in our system may not use interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loan patrons will become delinquent if they:

Fail to pick up requested material
Fail to return materials in the same condition in which it was loaned
Violate Casper College Policies

A $5.00 processing fee will be assessed for delinquent Interlibrary Loan patrons.

This library abides by any restrictions placed by the lending library on borrowed items. Violation of any part of this policy could result in the cessation of Interlibrary Loan privileges.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS:
The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyright material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research. If a user makes a request for, or later uses a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of fair use, that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution serves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of the copyright law.
